Are you driven to Drive Yourself?

In previous posts, I have talked briefly on:
1. how a negative environment can cause one to form negative personalities in order to deal it.
2. how the chaos within our minds is reflected in the world on a larger scale.
3. how the way we are raised disengages us from our true purpose and fullest potential by teaching us to do what others tell us.
4. how fear itself is only a vibration, and can be used as a source of personal empowerment.
5. how when we can see the world through another's eyes, we enrich and expand our version of life.

Today, I would like to touch more upon this micro and macro consciousness, and how we can improve our lives by understanding it.

Human beings have a need to control. In the past, this made us rise above animals to create wonderful innovations which we enjoy today. But when I look at the current problems that face us, there are so much control, it's not doing us any good, and it's not doing the system any good either. Our need to control has become an obsession, it has taken us over like a virus, where those who are in places of power are most of all infected. We are poisoning the Earth in an attempt to control our food and energy supply, and we are poisoning ourselves in the process. Is this logical? We are pooling much of our resources "kill the other guys" from our delusion that we will somehow benefit from destruction.

Why? How? We were on such a good roll with our innovations and our creativity. Why is it being used towards these ends?

Because we are driven by fear.
And our leaders are only a reflection of the seed within us all.
How often do you catch ourself thinking: "Oh I better go or I'll be late, Oh I better eat or I'll be hungry, Oh I better be nice to them or they will exclude me, Oh I better go to the doctor or I'll be sick." These unconscious fears have been driving us and causing us to create a controlling society, which only generates more fear, fear of being punished.

If you see yourself at all in this, then GOOD - the first step is making these conscious fears, the second step is to face them and look squarely at the consequences.
"If I'm late then maybe I'll lose my job."
"If I'm hungry I'll be uncomfortable."
"If they exclude me then I'll be lonely."
"If I am sick, maybe I'll die."

Is it worth living in a state of fear, just to reduce our chances of experiencing any of these things? Does it really pay to rush around, wolf down food, act phony, or become a hypochondriac? Logically, a person has to see, that if we rush ourselves, we are more likely to have an accident, which would not get us anywhere faster. If we eat at an unnatural time or manner, we are more likely to be uncomfortable from indigestion. If we act phony, that is a sure recipe for loneliness, even in a crowded room. Hypochondria is a mental disease, and stress is the number one killer. So I believe I have illustrated here, why it is not LOGICAL to allow ourselves to be driven by fear. If we are the smartest species on Earth, we need to realize NOW that what drives us will manifest not only in our minds and bodies and personal lives, but in our societal structures.

What if love drove us? What would our d.g.p. be then? If we helped all people grow abundant food and shared botanical cures for illness? If our largest addictions were to giving and hugging?
What would the terrorist threat or crime rate be?
What would the depression or homeless rate be?
What would our economic problems be?
And for those who still want to make everyone live by the book,
What would Jesus do?

Most importantly, if you were not in any way driven by fear,
What would that do for you?
